Marketing automation is a topic of conversation in almost every marketing brain dump in conference rooms around the world. Industrial marketers have been slow to the trough of marketing automation and lead generation.
Content Marketing Institute’s research tells us things are changing in last March’s report, Manufacturing: B2B Manufacturing Content Marketing CMI’s research tells us there is rapid adoption, but success is still elusive for industrial marketers.
Industrial customers and peers often ask me, “Which marketing automation is best for the industrial marketer & content marketing?” Most that know me, know that I am big believer in HubSpot. I wrote a top-level look at marketing automation a couple years ago and found HubSpot to be a, hands down, winner for the middle industrial market that I serve.
Mike Templeman at Forbes found a similar conclusion, Which Marketing Automation Software is the Best?
Marcus Sheridan, an evangelist for inbound and content marketing does a review of HubSpot and also a massive review of other marketing automation platforms Marketo, Eloqua & Pardot on his blog
I would just like to add to additional benefits of HubSpot.
I have worked with sales & marketing software for the better part of my career and I have found HubSpot’s customer service at the top of the heap. I simply cannot imagine a company with better customer service or response times. Not to mention these guys are some the smartest marketing minds on the planet and the content they deploy is veritable road map for the industrial marketer that wants to upstage his online competitors.
Also, HubSpot graphic user interface is terrific. Is is designed for marketers and not coders, and delivers in spades. Further, never a week or two passes without improvements in the interface.
I predict industrial marketers that embrace marketing automation and CONSISTENTLY follow up with branded, quality and helpful content will win the digital race for lead generation within their industries.
